KOK is an open curatorial collective in Iceland, founded by three curators to foster dialogue, collaboration, and reflection within the art scene. Responding to limited critique and gatekeeping, it creates a flexible space for curators, artists, and organisers to discuss contemporary art openly.
At the heart of KOK is its blog, where the collective will frequently publish articles, opinions, reviews, and interviews, creating a living platform for conversation and critical engagement. The collective emphasises research, curiosity and equity, connecting local and international perspectives.
